Love, Love the June Paper Pumpkin and how it coordinates with the Broadway Bound Suite on page 68-69 in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. I held a class today and some of my Paper Pumpkin subscribers came and brought their boxes to create the 8 cards and take part in creating alternatives using the suite of products.

Here are the alternative projects I shared for this month with a couple of tips. It always amazes me when I have so much left over to create even more.
DESIGN TIP: Take advantage of having the fun preprinted cardstock. I cut off 1/2” from each card front above and attached them to the other card. You can see the fun design from the outside and as you open it gives a nice addition to your inside sentiment.
DESIGN TIP: Use the sticker sheet banners in another way.. actually you’re using the scraps from the cut away part of the banner to make these “arrow” designs.
- Take one of your card bases and fold to create a covering for candy. Score about 1/2” at top to fold over other side that you’ve cut off 1/2” and secure with Tear and Tape Adhesive.
- Did you notice the 1/2” gold circles? That’s right… more scraps… don’t throw those sticker sheets away, get your 1/2” circle punch… and punch away. Note on the Make a Wish Card above, the addition of some of the gold sticker circles.
- To make this gift card holder I cut a card piece in half and using the gift card as a guide scored the sides to enclose the card and taped using Tear and Tape.
- I also used one of the envelopes and punched a circle to create the Lemon Lime circle design on the tag.
And here is all that is left after the fun alternative creations… I know I have enough for a scrapbook layout, so stay tuned…
