What’s a shoebox swap? (and yes, my image says SHOWbox!, it’s suppose to be shoebox… no time to fix now)
- Design a card using the parameters in the invitation.
- Just as if you were preparing for a Hostess Party, Workshop, or class; you will cut all the cardstock for a full card swap, provide all the accessories for the amount of those participating. You will also provide all ink pads for your design. Markers, aqua painters, blender pens. Anything that goes into making your card you put in a box and bring the day of the Shoebox swap. No envelopes.
- If there is basic Big Shot work that can be completed ahead of time, please do so. If we need to stamp the image prior to cutting, we can do that in the studio. Please bring the necessary diecut. Big Shots will be available to use, you will not need to bring yours. Same with heat tools for heat embossing, however bring embossing powder.
- Please mark you items so that we can keep them separate; ribbons, clear blocks, framelits, ink pads, markers,etc.
- Each person will need to bring their own snail adhesive, tear away tape, fine tip glue, Tombow, dimensionals, and glue dots.
- If we have some team members who want to participate but cannot attend that day for any reason, you will make their complete card and I will collect them that day, they will send or drop theirs off completed.
